"Year after year, this grape surprises me with how versatile it is and what an amazing bold mouthfeel it has" - Peter Petersen .
He breaks the dogmas where it is almost always included in a blend - Why not pure 100% Petite Sirah? The taste is the result of perfect ripening of grapes that are picked by hand, sorted so that only the best grape material smokes in the tank. The wine has had a little over a year in French casks to conjure up a velvety structure and give some depth to the aftertaste.
Notes of dark chocolate, blackcurrant and a slight cask note - Quite frankly, a pleasure to drink. It can go with the heavy meat table but also with grilled vegetables on a summer evening on the terrace.
